1. In the search bar type Mouse.
2. Select Mouse Settings.
3. Select additional mouse settings.
4. Select Pointers.
5. From the pull down choose Windows Black (System Scheme). Then click OK.

In case this does not work you, please try this as well.
1. Open Control Panel
2. Type in mouse pointer, in the search. Then click "Change how the mouse pointer looks"
3. Next highlight "Text Select"
4. Then click on Browse
5. Then find and highlight "beam_r"
6. Click Open
7. Click Apply and OK
8. You should be all set!
